For the third consecutive time, AUBMC has been awarded Magnet® Recognition by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), a subsidiary of the American Nurses Association.
The ANCC is the largest and most prestigious nurse credentialing organization in the United States. ANCC recognizes healthcare organizations for nursing excellence through the Magnet Recognition Program®. Only about 8 percent of healthcare organizations in the United States have achieved Magnet® recognition and AUBMC is the first in the region and the second outside the United States to earn this honor for three times. This is a true testament to AUBMC's continuous distinction in the provision of quality patient care, nursing excellence and innovation in professional nursing practice.
AUBMC first achieved Magnet® designation in 2009 and was re-designated in 2014 and 2019.
